Embrace The Unknown

Embrace The Unknown

“What began as a journey had become a retreat into the unknown. We were backing into the abyss; so worried our sins would follow us. We didn’t bother watching where we walked. And behind us was a cliff. Freedom is running through untamed land.” (Jon D.B)

It’s always difficult taking the first step towards change. Change is scary, change is hard and change is something most people are not willing to do.

You can’t control what has happened in your past, what is meant to happen in the future and what others will say about you.

What you can control is making the difficult changes to not settle and continue moving forward TODAY.

Leaving things behind to be able to work on your best self is not considered selfish. It may feel lonely due to walking away from different types of people.

But nothing is lonelier than being around people that you do not connect with.

How can one show up for their loved ones if they are not showing up for themselves?

In order to lead, you have to be able to put yourself through the hardships to build that fire within.

In order to be a great leader, you have to study the great.

Mistakes happen when you’re trying anything for the first time and a discomfort arises.

Short-term gratification has become an ongoing issue in today’s society. Most things can be had instantly compared to how we lived decades ago.

This has manipulated our society to become comfortable and complacent.

Sacrifice short term discomfort today to build long term success. It will be worth it because you are the one living it…no one else. J
