”Vince Lombardi once aside, ‘Winning is a habit; unfortunately so is losing.’ He understood that the results we get in life are simply the by-product of our repeated effort and our regimented schedule. “ (Vaden, Rory. Take the Stairs. pg 146)
You will go through seasons that consist of a lot more work than the one before. The endless amount of work that it takes towards getting to a specific goal is not meant to show you how to do it every single step of the way. You execute to the best of your ability and understand that you will have set backs.
When it becomes harder it does not mean you get an easier route. But you become better at thinking, solving problems, adapting and adjusting.
Some decisions will be faster to make because you’ve been there before or some new decisions will consist of your knowledge and take time to make.
Regardless, as long as you are evolving and not giving up…the outcome is meaningless.
The journey towards making decisions to the best of your ability is what challenges you in whatever stage you are in.
Life will challenge you with the new relationships you make, how you manage your finances and most importantly how well are you taking care of yourself mentally, physically and spiritually along the way.
There’s no curriculum to what works for you.
You have to make the decisions that invest in growing and evolving for the best you.
It most definitely does not happen overnight.
And you have to be okay with that.
One. Day. At. A. Time.
People quickly get tired of the same complaining.
What are you doing about it to make a change?
Because it’s evident that it’s not benefiting you.
If you want to take the easy way out (aka elevator mindset) then don’t go complaining to others on why it’s not working out.
The take the stairs mindset is that you WILL do the hard things necessary to build your confidence mentally, physically and spiritually one step at a time.
No one can take away your beliefs if it’s working for you and results are showing.
No one can take away a better you.
No one can take away your hard work.
No one can take away your happiness.
Only YOU are responsible for YOU.
